1957 Triumph TR3

I found the car listed in the VTR classifieds and located in Portland, OR. The seller had owned it since the early '60s and had not driven it much since a restoration about 8 years ago. So far so good!! But.... when I picked it up, it took over 5 hrs to go about 30 miles with the radiator boiling dry every 5 miles......$500 and a tow truck got me home to Seattle. I blew a hose and broke the fan belt on the next two outings..... Since then I have been working on dependability.. with the aid of those on the list and a good mechanic. Many many thanks to all!! Currently... after joining AAA plus, getting a cell phone, 4 generators, 3 voltage regulators, new clutch & brake MCs, starter, clutch, rebuilt tranny and now an *overdrive*.... I am beginning to really enjoy it. We even took a wonderful topless ride around the town on New Years Eve....a great way to herald in the next century.
