1961 Triumph TR3A

Car is apart in preparation for a ground-up restoration. I am taking a complete inventory of the parts that came with this "basket case" and filling in the gaps. Over the next few months I will begin to clean, repair and take to prime the sheet metal of the car. I know I will need to replace the driver's side floorpan. Also, there are several pin-hole size rust areas on the lower trailing edge of the front fenders; and the lower doglegs. These will be fixed either by replacement or brazing a repair. The only other body work will be where the rear over-riders were "pushed" into the rear valance and one of the prior owners had it repaired by filling with bondo. The picture is of the completed chassis as I received it (without the cat). I will need to do some re-work of the front suspension because of the aging process to the rubber parts. Mechanicals are going slowly. Engine is done, as is the overdrive transmission. Interior and Exterior trim are down the road although I do have a fairly complete inventory of new parts.
