I'm a student/Commercial Pilot at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I'm in the Professional Pilot program, and I will either be working for the military or the airlines once I graduate in May of 2004.
1962 Triumph TR4
Commission #: CT9480L
Manufactured: 1962
Owned since: 1996
Status: Hardcore driver, and chick magnet
My dad acquired this car back in the early nineties from a guy. The car sat
idle on our driveway until about 1996, when I asked my dad if I could "learn to sand." This started out as a father-son project, with me (I'm the son) funding the parts. The car was totally ripped apart, and was pieced back together over the course of 4 years. Everything was gone through, and everything that had rust on it or was broken was either fixed or replaced. We even painted the car
outselves (Chrome Yellow). To make a very long story short, the car was back on the road by spring of 2000, just in time for my senior prom, and the lovely, sunny weather of northern Indiana. The car was meant to be driven, and I will own her until the day I die. You can check out my website for the comprehensive, un-edited story of how my TR came to be. The website has many pictures and even some MPEG's of the car as it "was meant to be driven!"
